James Maitland
Managing Partner
James has been managing partner at Salvo for almost 15 years. James is a chartered accountant and qualified architect with 23 years' experience in the real estate development and investment industry. James has developed more than 4,000 apartments, 200,000 sqm of retail/office space with total value of over $3.5 billion along with the acquisition of multiple businesses. He is responsible for the performance and growth of the Salvo Group.

Colin Mackenzie
Partner, Development & Construction
Colin has 25 years’ experience in residential and commercial property development. A partner at Salvo since 2009, Colin oversees all construction and development activities and has been responsible for designing and building more than 2,500 apartments. He has an MBA and an Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction.

Jon Ellis
Partner, Sales & Marketing
Jon has 20 years' experience leading sales and marketing teams in property development. He has been delivering projects with Salvo since 2007, including one of its earliest developments, 109 Clarendon. Jon is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the group. Concurrently with development, Jon has been active in technology building and scaling a proptech company across 4 countries.

Derek Cheung
CFO
Derek is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years' experience. Derek joined Salvo in 2012 from KPMG and leads the finance and legal functions of the group. He has managed the delivery of multiple major developments as well as the acquisition and divestment of a range of companies within the group’s portfolio.

Tracy Galbavy
Operations Manager
Tracy has more than a decade of real estate and management experience. Tracy joined Salvo in 2012 and is responsible for operations and HR across the group. With qualifications in both real estate and marketing, Tracy has broad experience across real estate services, client services and operations.

Mario Salvo
Founder & Chairman
Mario is one of the country’s leading private property developers and an Australian success story. Mario founded and engineered the dynamic growth of Delta Car Rentals into the international Asia Pacific Europcar business before focusing on property development. He established Salvo in 2004 and has been successfully investing in Australian real estate for more than 40 years.
